Annual Homeschool Testing

For over 8 years, Christie has come along side homeschooling families by offering the required annual Washington State testing for grades 3-12 in her home. This takes the pressure off of the parents and makes it a fun experience for the students. She offers the Iowa Basic test which provides parents with an excellent glimpse into how their students are growing each year also offering comparisons to students across the United States in based upon grade levels. Tests are given in the month of May.

Creative Youth Theater

For 24 years, Christie has offered a 2-week drama workshop for kids 6-17 in Bellingham. It’s a great place to begin and to develop your acting abilities. Our program is different in that everyone has lots of time on stage, a character to develop, and fun lines to say. Big and small parts are available, but everyone is a star!! Younger kids (6-11) put on a shorter play and the older kids (11-17) put on a three act play. It’s an exciting summer workshop for kids! The plays we use are also for sale.

NOTE: Mr. Daniel Thayer is taking over Creative Youth Theater. He has a masters in Drama and Music and teaches at Mount Vernon Christian School. Plays are in July.

New Hope For Marriage

This impactful weekend retreat is for wives who are struggling and discouraged in their marriages and need some direction to move into a more positive future.   This retreat is facilitated by Christie and her friend Deb Kalmbach. Both struggled in their marriages and saw God work in amazing ways! This retreat is held twice a year in various locations in Washington.  It is limited to five women. Some scholarship are available
